It is a gift to and from God.
Go to a third world country for a month and see what we are missing. Not what we have necessarily, but more of what they have that we are missing. They stick to the basics and appreciate anything extra. Giving to the poor is a way for us to get what they have. They have the basics and pure love for what there life is centered around, but we don't have it. Giving is for us as much as them. Even more, when we give, in God's name, we are showing them the love that God has for them. Don't be ignorant, but understand that if we give and it is used wrongly, it isn't our fault. DON'T BE IGNORANT!! Trust but investigate.
