One for the nay-sayers -- Great News Today!

John Mark Reynolds has dropped a blog over at ScriptoriumDaily that I could hardly agree with more:

Forget the good old days, this is a great time to be alive. When I remember the stories my grandparents told me of their childhood, then it puts todays headlines in perspective.

Here are ten reasons I am glad to be alive now as a traditional Christian and not when my grandparents were young adults in the 1930’s.

Number 1: The Christian church is booming globally.

When I hear or talk to the doom-and-gloomers, I think these kinds of thoughts. I think John Mark Reynolds comes as close to nailing it as I've read in a while. Things are good. Things are very good! Sometimes I forget how good things are. I'm glad John Mark Reynolds reminded me today!
