How many problems in the Church would never grow into problems if we would JUST TALK about them before they became problems? Seriously. Why don't we just talk before things become a problem? "Hey, I love you. Let's talk," would go a long way in building the church.

realtime conviction
We had a member of our community experience realtime conviction on Saturday. It was pretty funny to see. She had a great attitude about it. We were studying Psalm 5 and Julie commented that the sense of expectantly waiting on God to answer morning prayers was something she desired to have. She mentioned that most often she pulled out her daytimer and scheduled her day without taking time to wait on God to speak to the various elements in her life. The other girl just raised her hymnal up and hid her face because she was convited on the sport about overbooking her life every morning. That was a story prompted from the fact that Jody was convicted during recording to make the call. So how did the call go?

Yeah, after I packed up the "studio" and got the one road, I called her up. She had a long list of reasons for being too busy to come ot church. I told her that we miss her and love her.... we still haven't seen her. Makes me sad.
What's next?
So what are you going to do next? Call again? Write a note? Invite her to dinner at your home?
I think...
I think I will speak with our preacher, and make sure he has touched base with her, first. Once he's spoken with her, we can pray about it and see where the Spirit leads from there.
