Theology Rocks Show #26 - "Is the Church reaching toward the reachable for Christ?"

Are we even trying to reach the reachable, or are we spinning our wheels and wasting Kingdom resources by trying to win the people we feel comfortable with? Our ineffectiveness in our culture, and the directions we're going trying to reach people certainly begs the question.

We'd love to get some feedback on this short podcast.

Blessed are the poor in spirit is referring to people that realize they are spiritually destitute and are totaly dependent on Christ. It is not an economic term...

How confident are you in that assessment? There are many references to 'the poor' in the Gospels. There is very good reason to believe that 'the poor' means both the 'poor in spirit,' as well as 'the financially poor.'

Two brothers wont come to

Two brothers wont come to Church because they know most people that
are there are "HYPOCRITES" - The third brother told them "Why not join
the ones that are LIKE YOU."
