Theology Rocks Show #58 - "The Danger of Keeping Your Past in Front of You"

Words of wisdom from Pumba: "Put your behind in the past!"

For many Christians, our testimony is the list of terrible things in our past that God saved us from. There's a danger in keeping those memories in front of us (prominent in our minds). There comes a time in our lives that we just have to "put our past behind us," and move on. It doesn't mean those things aren't real, that we should deny them, or that God doesn't intend to use those things to minister to others.

Keep Dan in your prayers. He has been in the hospital for a few days now. He has an infection in his foot (complications of diabetes). When I talked to him Sunday afternoon, the doctors were waiting to see if the infection would respond to antibiotics, or if amputation was the immediate solution.

Tell someone about the show:
- If you like the show, tell a friend about it!
- If you don't like it, tell someone you don't like!

Send us feedback:
- In either case, you can send us feedback by email at feedback@opendiscipleship.org.
- You can also engage in our Open Forums at the web site.
- You can call and leave us voicemail at our voice line (206) 339-3163 (calling from your cell is probably free).
- If you're as geeked as Jody, you can record your question or comment and email it to us at the feedback address.
- You could send a fax to the voicemail number above, if you wanted to....

You can subscribe to this podcast at iTunes: iTunes
You can subscribe to our RSS feed: RSS feed

“Theology Rocks - truths to stand on” is a production of OpenDiscipleship.org, "teaching great truths to trustworthy people who are able to pass them on to others."

“Theology Rocks - truths to stand on” is... Simple, clear talk about theological truths for Christians. A conversation between two Christian brothers about all kinds of theological issues, daily issues with theological implications, and how Christianity should permeate every aspect of the Christian's life.
